2012 Industry Poinsettia Trial Field Day
Calling all industry professionals: Join us for our annual poinsettia open house!
The 2012 Poinsettia Trial Field Day will be held Tuesday, December 4, 9am–3pm, in the UF Environmental Horticulture Greenhouse Complex in Gainesville (map).
The trials are sponsored by poinsettia breeder companies and this year there are nearly 100 varieties from Beekenkamp, Dummen, Ecke, Selecta/Ball, and Syngenta. Emphasis is on the newer and more important varieties, with many being shown for the first time.
On the industry day, Jim Barrett will lead a discussion on the varieties at 10:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. The afternoon session is always smaller and we are better able to address your particular issues and questions then.
