Thank you for visiting the web site of the Plant Restoration, Conservation and Propagation Biotechnology Program. I am a professor in the Environmental Horticulture Department here at the UF Gainesville campus and the program manager of the Plant Restoration, Conservation and Propagation Biotechnology Program. My personal research interests center around the physiological control of aquatic & wetland plant growth and development, especially those native to North America. Specifically, I am interested in the development of in vitro propagation protocols for genotypic selection of native aquatic and wetland plants for enhanced function in the restoration of wetland habitats and use in retention ponds for phytoremediation. Please contact me should you have any questions concerning our research program or research interests.
