Environmental Horticulture

On behalf of the department and the Plant Sciences program I would like to thank Dr. John Peterson for 5 great years of service supporting our teaching programs, developing strong relationships with our industry stakeholders, and sharing the knowledge he has gained over a lifetime in horticulture.  John has held positions in teaching, research, extension and administration at three different universities and served in many roles at botanical gardens and horticultural societies on both coasts.  We have been very fortunate to benefit from his experience across many areas of ornamental horticulture and floriculture.  We all wish him the very best in retirement and know that plants will always be in his future. – Dean Kopsell
