Job Description: Develops the vegetation management program for the electrical system by interacting with customers, linesmen, engineers, salesmen, and city employees and managers from different departments. Oversees the management of tree trimming contract crews who implement the work and assumes responsibility for the quality of their work.

Personal Statement: My internship with the City of Gainesville allowed me to apply the knowledge I gained from ENH courses. This helped me realize my own capabilities and the value of my skills.

I enjoy the challenge of looking at the big picture to determine the best plan of action for making improvements. I also like educating the crews and customers about trees and their relationships to the electrical equipment. Most of all I love that I can be outside most of the time!
